Hey y'all!
My name is Hayley and I live in Chattanooga, Tennessee!
I am going to be a senior at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga! My major is Child and Family Studies. I have no idea what I'm going to do with my degree- that's all in God's hands!
This is my mom and my grandparents- they mean the world to me!
I am involved in Campus Crusade on my campus! That's how I heard about Adventures in Missions! On the left is a picture of my bible study. These women are so special to me- they've been such a huge encouragement and support system through all the processes for this trip! On the right is a picture of my summer project! I'm not sure if any of you are familiar with Summer Project. I spent summer 2011 in Santa Cruz, California working on the boardwalk and serving the Lord through ministering to my coworkers and people of the city! (This picture is a picture of us at Yosimite! It was an end of the summer trip)
I work at the YMCA: Preschool as a Teacher's Assistant in the Preschool 1 Classroom! My babies are 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 and they are in the potty training stage. If you can only imagine what I go through on a daily basis... :) I absolutely adore my job and I love my kids as if they were my own! Here are a few of them- their sweet faces get me through the day!
Here are some other random pictures of me! Just so you all can get an idea of what I look like!
I am very goofy, and I'm all about having a good time! I hope ya'll are ready to make some wonderful memories in South Africa!
Y'all, I can't even explain how excited I am to go on this journey with each of you! I was so skeptical about this trip and about AIM becuase I didn't know much about it at all. I am being reassured each day as the trip gets closer that I'm being placed in a FAMILY, and band of believers with the same purpose; to share the love of Christ with the lost to expand God's Kingdom all for His glory! I can't wait to meet all you in one short month! I'm praying for us as a team and I'm praying for the people we meet, that God would prepare their hearts for the Good News we have for them!
See you all so soon!
Love, Hayley
